Carl Sjöström

Reward and Corporate Governance

Carl is a senior business advisor with over 20 years experience advising boards and management. During that time Carl’s work has spanned almost every industry, advising clients across most of Europe and North America, as well as large parts of Asia and Africa. Carl has lived and worked in the UK, Sweden, the US, Hong Kong and France and is a frequent speaker and commentator on topics like reward, executive pay, strategy and corporate governance issues from an international perspective.

Carl has a particular focus on the relationships between company performance, corporate governance and reward, how these evolve together and how to make them all work from an international perspective. He has broad experience working with management and boards with diverse circumstances and problems, understanding fundamental and intricate business issues and helping to find simple solutions in complex settings.
